About me
My name is Yosua, and I am from Edinburgh, although I have been living in Spain for many years (my mother is British and my father is Spanish). I'm completely bilingual, and I have a 5-year degree in Sociology (University of Granada, Spain). Furthermore, I studied for one year in Bucharest, Romania, thanks to an ERASMUS grant. Moreover, I have obtained a Qualifi Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) (The TEFL Academy) (RQF). As far as work experience, I have worked in an English academy in Spain for the last 8 years, as well as doing freelance translations and transcriptions in my free time.
I charge €0.01 per word and I can have your translation ready in 24 hours if it's under 10000 words, 48 hours if it's between 10000 and 20000 words. For bigger projects, please contact me for an estimate.
I will translate and localize your file from Spanish to English and vice versa—professionally, manually, and at the utmost urgency!
Immaculate translations are essential—not only for businesses but also in private conversations.
Don't risk your business or reputation by purchasing a cheap translation service. Instead, pick a professional and native English/Spanish translator.
What do you get? You will get authentic and accurate professional results without having to worry about your text being outsourced or leaked to the public. All translations are done manually and professionally and treated confidentially.
Languages are my passion and my career, even though my studies are in sociology. I love debates and reading, especially if it's with a good dose of humour! I am lucky enough to have been born into a culturally rich family. I grew up in a house with no electricity, so I had to read. I remember I would read anything I could get my hands on! No matter if it was English or Spanish. At the time, I wasn't too happy about not having a TV, but that lifestyle set me on a path; a path that would lead me to sociology and languages.
Apart from that, my parents are artisans (they work with leather and silver) and we used to travel around Europe – especially Spain, France, and Scotland. We would combine travelling and selling at different events. This gave me the chance to learn a lot about different cultures and ways of communicating.
